With mindful ears, take in all of the components that make up a song or an album. Take in each layer of the music, one at a time. Start with the vocals--the melody and the lyrics--and work your way to the guitar, the keys, and the drums (or any components that may be present in your music). There are a couple of ways to go about this:
First, you can draw something in as photorealistic a manner as possible, meditating on the small, subtle variations of light and darkness that make up an image. This allows us to view the world around us in a way that is unattached from our perceptions of how things are "supposed" to look.
The second way is to take in the image that you want to draw with only your eyes--no utensil yet in your hand. Capture the essence of the moment and what it is that you want to convey. Then, after meditating on it for a few moments, recreate the essence of that image with as intentional and as few lines as possible. This allows us to see a bigger picture and really take the time to process our surroundings.
Keep in mind that neither method is better than the other. Just do what makes the most sense to you in the moment.Read More

Eating fruits and vegetables raw, the way that we find them in nature, is an incredible way to freshen and clean our bodies. Fruits and vegetables have the highest nutrient density of any foods and help give us a better awareness when our bellies fill. This helps to prevent over-eating and helps keep our digestive systems from over-working, allowing that energy to be re-distributed throughout the body.
